Format Painter Excel Tutorial

The Format Painter is a tool in Microsoft Excel that allows you to quickly copy the formatting of one cell and apply it to other cells. This can save you time when you have multiple cells with similar formatting.

Here's how to use the Format Painter in Excel:

1. Select the cell with the formatting you want to copy.
2. Click the Format Painter icon in the Home tab of the Ribbon.
3. Select the cells you want to apply the formatting to.
4. The formatting from the original cell will now be applied to the selected cells.

Note: If you want to apply the same formatting to multiple cells, you can double-click the Format Painter icon instead of single-clicking. This will allow you to keep the Format Painter active, so you can keep selecting cells and applying the formatting to them until you press Esc or click the Format Painter icon again.
